There is nothing worse than signing up to a yoga class thinking you are going to have a work out but barely breaking a sweat.
Or expecting a gentle class to wind you down at the end of the day and then having to jump around and stand on your head.
That’s why we have created a system for you to get a better idea of what each of our classes are like.

how much yoga you have done and your yoga skill level

L 0 = Less than 3 months of yoga. All of the poses are new or unfamiliar to you. You need consistent prompts on positioning. Look for classes at this level if you are injured, pregnant or less mobile.

L 1 = Between 3 months and 2 years of yoga. Starting to know a lot of the poses and have good body awareness. Interested in trying new positions and developing your practice.

L 2 = Between 2 years and 5 years of yoga. Understand most of the poses but need practice with more of the advanced poses. You may be familiar with some Sanskrit.

L 3 = More than 5 years of yoga. You are a yoga King/Queen. You know all of the poses and we all aspire to be like you. Sanskrit is your second language.

sweat level

how much movement you will do and how sweaty you will get

I 0 = Minimal movement. You will be instructed into a position and then you will stay there for a significant period of time. Great for people with injuries or who are less mobile.

I 1 = Some gentle movement. Great for beginners.

I 2 = Prepare to move a lot. Perfect for people who are fit and fully mobile, no matter what level of yoga you are at.

I 3 = Prepare to sweat. These classes will be high intensity or very very hot. You will need strength and stamina, and most definitely a sweat towel.

Now you’re in the know, book a class or head back to the class descriptions.

*Please note that the yoga level and sweat level system is not something that is used by anyone other than WELLNESS SPACE. So if you ask for this in other studios, they may not know what you are talking about.
