Aaron Parker

Aaron is the founder of The Conscious Self. He rUns beautiful conscious events in stunning natural places across the UK. He is a breathwork specialist, forest bathing leader, space holder, mens worker, conscious warrior and is on a mission to help people live a life more in tune with nature, their true nature, stillness, the breath and consciously connected to who they are and the natural world around them.

CLASS: Conscious breath
A deep and powerful breathwork session that allows us to access deep parts of ourselves, release trauma, stuck emotion and tap into the bodies wisdom, searching for a deep state of stillness and peace within.

Claire Lormor

The founder of Wellness Space UK who organise a variety of wellness events in and around the North East: including weekend retreats, beach yoga, yoga brunches, in-studio yoga classes and the Sunderland Wellness Festival.

CLASS: Relax and restore
Join Claire for a super gentle yoga class to help wind things down, sooth, calm and set you up for a good night's sleep.

Clare is a coach and personal trainer working in a variety of gyms in the area. She has a passion for helping people find the style of movement or training that they enjoy to allow them to live health and active lifestyles. This includes teaching yoga, Pilates, spinning and a wide range of group exercise.

Chris Pentland

Chris Pentland, founder of SalSeduce Dance Company in Newcastle, runs the largest and well established Salsa Dance Company in the North East. Chris focuses his teaching on fun and enjoyment, technique and style and being able to bring these skills to the dance floor.

CLASS: Salsa time!
Join Chris for an invigorating introduction to salsa dancing. Prepare to move the body, challenge your coordination and laugh A LOT! This class is suitable for all levels and no experience of salsa or dancing is required.

 

Gary Walker

After first finding yoga in 2009, Gary experienced a life changing event which led to the spiritual awakening of his yogic practice. He is the owner of White Tiger Yoga facilitating yoga, breath work and pranayama sessions in the North East. Spiritually a White Tiger is renowned for its strength and majestic fierceness, and it traditionally symbolizes strength, courage, willpower and vision. 

CLASS: The yogic path
A dynamic well-rounded yoga class, weaved with ancient philosophy and meditation. The Yogic Path will take you on a journey of liberation and inner engineering. Lots of options will be given throughout the class. Not suitable if you are pregnant or have any injuries.

Jessica Crawley

Jess is a HCPC registered dietitian and practitioner with sustainable wellbeing company, Light Of Mind. She works to help people improve their relationship with food as a step toward living a more connected life. Jess is an experienced group facilitator and change coach, with experience in corporate wellbeing and change management. 

TALK: You are what you eat...and so much more. What nutrition can teach us about the human experience.
In this talk, Jess draws upon her understanding of nutritional science to explore how human beings are each, a unique ecosystem living in a global ecosystem: Earth. By exploring how our own systems (the body and mind) operate, we can begin to see how our true nature IS nature, dissolving the illusion of separation and in turn, stepping into a deeper and more authentic sense of self that serves ourselves, our communities and the planet. 

 

Katie Bulmer-Cooke

As well as a Personal Trainer, Katie has worked with a range of well-known health and fitness brands, consulting on business development, group fitness concept creation and staff training. Katie also owns Norks Sports Bras, a sustainable, luxury sports bra brand, which prides itself on having all products made ethically in the UK. 

TALK: Embracing your body. Empowering your health. 
Cut through the noise and get clarity on your health and fitness journey. In a world inundated with conflicting messages and ideals, it's natural to feel uncertain about the steps we should take to achieve our health and fitness goals. During this talk, Katie will guide you through practical strategies and insights to boost your body image and empower you to make informed choices for your overall well-being.

Luke Harrison

Luke is a Coach, Speaker and 2x Author. He is a healthy lifestyle specialist, former weekend warrior of drink, coke and smoke.  And he now helps others get into a lifestyle of health and high energy.

TALK: How to overcome self-doubt and anxiety, and become your strongest and most confident self
Personal stories of demons and debauchery and how one can rise from the ashes to take self control once again.

 

Simon Wood

Simon’s passion is making music and playing with rhythm - with people and for people. He makes music and sound journeys with sound sculptures called Handpans. As well as working at festivals and gigs, he facilitates workshops and drum circles around the area.

CLASS: Handpan sound journey
Enjoy the beautiful sounds and vibrations of the Handpan instruments.
An instrument that creates a sound similar to a steel drum, a harp and bells - a modern creation but with a beautiful ancient sound. You will find this sound journey gentle, yet powerful, mesmerising and deeply moving.

Susan Bird

Susan has over 33 years T’ai Chi experience, holding 5 master grades in that discipline and 4 in Feng Shou Kung fu. Susan runs classes locally, courses nationally and an annual T’ai Chi retreat in Spain. Susan has also published, written and illustrated 4 children’s books.

CLASS: T’ai Chi
A rhythmical and fluid T’ai Chi session to help you be present, feel deeply relaxed and find joy in movement. This session will move you through poses to help quieten the mind in order to re-connected with nature and become revitalised.
